This is an article shown with an image of women practicing riding horses. This is part of an article on the American Museum of Natural History that was published in 1892. The article title is, "Where Women Ride Astride," and it is about how men were shocked on how courageous women where to horseback ride. This was a great part on women rights and men would explain, "what are we coming to?"
This data chart was the fourth annual report of the commissioner of labor titled as, "Working Women in Large Cities." It was published in 1888 and discussed the working conditions for Women in Indianapolis.
A report written about the data showed that rents were average, but nine of every ten working women of lived at home. There was little poverty and the streets were well made and very little were unstainable. Even though wages were low, many women wanted to save and own stock or bank accounts. There were many churches built but not many women went and there was a good amount of educational abilities. At the least, many living areas did not have proper fire escapes, dressing rooms or closets, and lighting and ventilation was poor. In all women were treated less poorly then they were in many other states.
